LifeWire App - Privacy Policy

LifeWire is an internal business application developed to provide authorized users with access to business volume and performance-related information relevant to their assigned sales area.

SLIC Life Insurance PLC (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting user privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when using the LifeWire mobile application (“App”).

1. Purpose of the Application

LifeWire is designed exclusively for authorized users to:

• View business volume data
• Monitor sales performance related to their own assigned sales area

The application is intended for internal business use only.

2. Information Collection

LifeWire does not collect, store, or process personal or sensitive user data.

Specifically:

• No personal information (such as name, NIC, email address, or phone number) is collected
• No financial, location, contact, or device data is collected
• No analytics or tracking data is collected

User login is used only for authentication and authorization purposes to determine which business data is displayed.

3. Use of Information

The application:

• Displays business volume and performance data retrieved securely from internal systems
• Limits displayed data strictly to the logged-in user’s assigned sales area
• Does not store any business or user data on the mobile device

No data is used for profiling, marketing, or analytics.

4. Data Storage and Retention

LifeWire does not store any user data locally on the device. All information is retrieved dynamically during an active user session and is not retained after logout.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

LifeWire does not share, sell, rent, or disclose any data to third parties. Data transmission occurs only between the application and secure internal backend systems.

6. Data Security

Appropriate technical and organizational measures are implemented to protect information, including secure authentication, encrypted data transmission, and role-based access controls to ensure users only view authorized data.

7. Permissions

The application requires only the minimum permissions necessary for operation:

• Internet access – to securely retrieve authorized business data

No access to contacts, location, storage, camera, or other device features is required.

8. Children’s Privacy

LifeWire is not designed for use by children and is intended only for individuals aged 18 years and above.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page along with an updated revision date.
